Finally..

a box arrives from Netherlands with new stock, but the other one, is still in limbo. I love receiving new stock..!

Fruit

Its' raspberry time and we have a bumper crop this year. Just in time as all the cherries have just finished! Redcurrents, blackcurrents and gooseberries to follow shortly, but they are not so good this year.

This..

.is what our house now looks like.....from red to YELLOW! Nils has never liked yellow, but now we have a yellow lounge in a yellow house! Makes a change though, as we have 2 green bathrooms and a green dining room. Other rooms are all various shades of cream!

I am always interested..

..to know who reads my blogs. Some people I know, but there are many I don't! Please let me know who you are:)

Forgot to say..

..I got a blog award from Angélique. Thank-you, and I will nominate some blogs too:)

I met Angélique, a Dutch crafter at Scrap-a-Ganza. I bought on her behalf a number of hAnglar stamps that are only available in Sweden and Norway.

It is nice to meet up with people you chat to online and I hope that I will get to see Angélique at another Scrap-a-Ganza event.

Airport run.

Mum and Dad have flown home today, so Oskar and I took them to Torp for their flight to Liverpool.

In two weeks time, Oskar and I will be flying to UK, but we'll go from Kristiansand to Manchester via Amsterdam! There is no easy way of getting to and from Norway and UK.

The weather here is just starting to be more settled again, so the temperature is rising. Nils is busy fixing one of our cars - sigh! Next to do is finish the painting, sort out firewood, put up a fence in the garden....the list is endless.

I'm getting my scrap-room in order. My "missing" new stock has been located, so should be here by the end of the week-hurray! Can't wait to get my mittens on some new stash! I am also in the process of sorting out photos to be printed out, so I can begin to finish all the projects I brought home from Scrap-a-Ganza. First one will be the lovely reverse canvas class by Jen Starr!

It has taken a while..

..but I am finally getting things organised so that I can begin scrapping again.

I'm also re-stocking the shop too!

So, this will be my new craft only blog and this will continue to be my day to day, keeping friends and relatives upto date with news blog.

Hope to start posting more useful information shortly.

It's the 4th July..

Yankee Doodle Dandy HAPPY BIRTHDAY OSKAR.
2 TODAY!
Have a lovely day:)
The photo was taken this morning. He dressed himself!

We didn't have the day we wanted due to the impending bad weather. So priority was getting as much of the house painted as possible. The same applies tomorrow, as heavy rain is forecast on Sunday. So, an indoor party it will be!
Anyway, Oskar loved blowing out his candles, as you can see.

also wishing..

a Happy Birthday to my friend Mel in Marshallville, Ohio. Have a great 30th!!!

Its that time of the year again...

Poppies! So, as they are part of Oskar's story, we now take pictures of him every year to chart his progress. So here is a couple from this year:

The Devils Cat!

That is the name we affectionately call the wild cat that hangs around our place! He is a big bully of a cat and not at all tame. He has caused us a lot of money in vets fees for Wonky Chan's wounds! So here he is.......these are not sad eyes...it is pure guilt, after he tried to steal Wonky Chan and Tascha's food!

Decisions, decisions-LOL!

Nothing too taxing but there are two potential contenders for my money this Autum. Firstly is Mini SAG at Haarlem between 14-16th November. Secondly Scrap a Fairy Tale between 3rd-5th October in Doorn. (both Netherlands)

Flight prices are higher than what I paid in January for Mega SAG, so that is a downer! Availability is getting tricky, which means the flight prices are becoming too expensive. So, which venue will I choose?

I'm really not sure yet. There are pros and cons for both, although the one at Doorn seems more viable due to flights. (still Summer schedule in October) Mind you, I'll have to be creative as it will mean having to fly from Oslo, rather from my local airports (Sandefjord TRF, Kristiansand KRS). However, I can catch a train from the station 4km away, and the fare is cheaper than petrol and parking at either airports + I don't have to drive:) But it means getting the train at 04.30am and one that gets me back at 02.30am, so not really convenient! But hey, it has to be done-LOL!

So, I'll chew everything over and make a decision in a few days. It would be nice of both organisers released teacher info for the events. SaFT has confirmed one of the owners for Maya Road (yummy stuff) and someone from MME (love their paper), but want to know who the remainig teachers will be? Lida deWitte would be GREAT...fingers crossed.

I'll be concentrating on all things birthday over the next few days, so we'll see what developes.

All change..

..for the house, that is. It is currently getting a makeover with the help of Tomasz and Martyn from Poland.
